Energy Poverty

What is Energy Poverty?

Energy Poverty covers multiple issues mainly being the total lack of electricity, infrastructure for communities and lack of access to modern energy services.

Access to reliable sources of electricity is essential for communities to grow in productivity and excel in knowledge and education. Without reliable electricity key services such as education and healthcare are severely limited.

Severe energy poverty also results in a severe lack of communications and the inability to stay connected to major cities and the economies arteries. Inevitably, communities experiencing energy poverty are at a severe disadvantage to those communities with reliable access to electricity and modern energy sources.

Unfortunately, human trafficking and all forms of criminal conduct thrive in communities experiencing energy poverty with little to no ability to communicate with the outside world for weeks or months at a time.

Our Mission

We firmly believe as responsible global citizens we share our responsibility to promote a sustainable global economy and a more sustainable world.

Our group has the technology and in-country capabilities to bring about long-lasting change to communities experiencing energy poverty. This will predominantly include purpose-built and ruggedized batteries with little to no risk of thermal runoff events, micro-inverter solar PV systems and communications.
