A Power Purchase Agreement is a financial agreement where Meta Energy designs, installs and maintains a solar energy system on your property at no cost.

After the solar system installation, you pay Ignition One for the power you use from the solar panels, instead of drawing electricity from the grid. Ignition One’s electricity is charged at a rate that is generally 10-20% lower than your current electricity rate for the life of the agreement.

Over the PPA term, Meta Energy receives the income from the sale of electricity generated from the system. This offsets the cost of the solar
panels. At the end of the PPA contract term, a customer owns the solar
panels outright. The customer then obtains the full dollar benefit of the
solar power generated.

PPAs typically range from 10 to 25 years – however, with Ignition One
they are 7 years or less pending system options/requirements. Ignition One also remains responsible for the
operation and maintenance of the system for the duration of the PPA
agreement.
